Barter

Bartering is not so much a currency as a method of trade. Its simplicity is nearly universal, and can often be a fallback when two traders cannot find a common currency with which to trade. However, its usefulness is limited in high-tech realities with regimented currencies. And those who attempt bartering in foreign realities had better know local customs of trade.
